✓ Free UK delivery    ✓ 30 day returns    ✓ 2 year warranty    ✓ Secure checkout

A thick plush microfibre towel for drying and buffing, deep enough that water disappears into the pile instead of smearing around. The edges are bound in a soft band so there is no scratchy stitching against the paint.

It comes from SEAMETAL, the name on the packaging, in three sizes. The 60 by 40 suits door panels and glass, the long 100 by 40 drapes across a bonnet or roof, and the 75 by 35 is the everyday middle size.

Questions

Which size should I get?

The 60 x 40 cm is right for glass and door panels, the 75 x 35 cm is the everyday size, and the 100 x 40 cm covers a bonnet or roof in one go.

Will it scratch?

The pile is soft microfibre and the edges are bound in a soft band rather than hard stitching. Wash it before first use and keep it off the floor.

How should I wash it?

Machine wash cool with no fabric softener, softener clogs the fibres.

What is the delivery time?

Two weeks maximum, worldwide. Free in the UK, a flat 9 pounds everywhere else, tracked either way.

The metre long one is superb

Lay the 100 by 40 across the bonnet, pull it towards you, done. One pass and the panel is dry.

Thick as a rug

You can lose your fingers in the pile. Water just vanishes into it instead of pushing around the glass.

Sheds a little at first

First wash left some lint on the cloth it went in with. After that it settled down and now it is my main drying towel.

Soft edges matter

The bound edge means I stopped worrying about trailing a seam across the paint. Grey hides the grime between washes.

Great on interior glass

The smaller size does the inside of the screen without streaks. Barely any effort.
